ROOFING ANSWERING SERVICE · EARLY ACCESS

Roofing answering service for storm weeks.

After hail or high wind, one day of calls can equal a normal month. WarmAnswer is preparing an AI answering service for roofing companies that sorts active leaks from inspection requests and replacement leads while your crews are on roofs.

Why roofing calls need their own intake

Roofing demand follows the weather. A storm rolls through, every homeowner on the street checks the ceiling, and your phone rings while the office is already behind on estimates. The callers are not alike. One has water dripping into a bedroom. Another saw a neighbor’s roof replaced and wants an inspection. A third already has an adjuster appointment and needs a contractor there.

A roofing answering service is useful when it separates those calls on the first contact. Homeowners also hesitate after a storm because out-of-town crews knock on doors, so a call answered promptly in your company’s name builds trust before anyone climbs a ladder.

Rules we agree with you before activation

  • Active-leak response. Whether you offer emergency tarping, the hours you do it, and who is called.
  • Storm-mode capacity. What callers hear when inspections are booked out, so nobody is promised a visit you cannot make.
  • Service area. ZIP codes, and whether you take commercial or flat-roof work.
  • Insurance wording. What the receptionist may say about claims, and what it must leave to your estimator.
  • Lead details. The fields your estimator needs before driving out, such as stories, pitch or material.

Where your team stays in charge

The receptionist does not assess damage, estimate replacement cost, interpret insurance policies or give instructions that involve going onto a roof. It does not confirm inspection times without a calendar connection. Its job is to make sure no storm-week caller is lost and every lead arrives with the details your estimator asks for first.

ROOFING FAQ

Before roofing goes live.

Can WarmAnswer answer roofing calls today?

Our roofing conversation demo is available for testing; it does not save or send a service request, dispatch a crew or book a visit. Real roofing call handling is still in early access. WarmAnswer currently runs controlled pilots for plumbing companies, and a roofing configuration has to be designed and approved by a roofing owner before any roofing number is connected.

Will the receptionist talk about insurance claims?

It can record whether the caller has filed a claim, and with which carrier, if you want that detail. It does not advise on coverage, deductibles or what an adjuster will approve. Those conversations stay with your team.

What happens when a caller has water coming through the ceiling?

The call is flagged as an active leak and routed by the rule you set, for example a transfer to the on-call crew lead or a priority message. The receptionist does not tell anyone to go up on a roof.

Can it book inspections directly?

Only once a real calendar connection confirms the slot. Until then it captures the preferred windows and your team confirms the inspection.
